Loft Conversions - Feasibility Design

One of our surveyors will visit site and undertake a feasibility study. From this visit we produce a quotation and drawing of our recommendation for your property. This is a free service provided as part of our sales engagement and is limited to outline drawings.

 

Loft Conversions - Structural Design

Once our proposal and quotation has been accepted one of our structural surveyors will visit and undertake a full structural survey. As a result of this survey we provide full structural design's detailing structural elements and design calculation's suitable for submission to building regulations.

 

Loft Conversions - Dormer Window and Velux Conversions

We undertake loft conversions using Dormer windows, Velux® windows or combinations of the two. We specialise and work closely with Velux to install larger combinations of Velux windows and Velux Cabrio and ATS Terrace Systems. Uniquely our dormer windows are manufactured to order in our workshops and shipped to site to reduce the impact to your project.

 

Full Project Loft Conversion

Our own in house team will manage and undertake all works to site leaving you with a completed loft conversion. Works are usually completed in 4-6 weeks depending on the scope of the project and services included. We include all the services outlined above and consult you throughout to ensure the final Loft Conversion meets your requirements.

 

Loft Conversions - Project Flexibility

With all aspects of projects we remain flexible and following a discussion with a surveyor will offer a service tailored to most requirements including as much or as little of the conversion project as you feel is necessary.

For all projects we use our own staff to undertake work to our Loft Conversions. Designers, surveyors, steel teams, joinery, electrical, plumbers and plasterers are all our own staff. We do not typically use an architect, although we are happy to work to customers specifications and offer advise where applicable.

 

Loft Conversions and Planning

Your Loft Conversion may require local authority planning permission and this will be advised by your surveyor. If planning is required our drawing office will produce and submit the relevant plans and paperwork to ensure compliance.

All Loft Conversions undertaken by Pymgate will comply with local authority building regulations and we will ensure the relevant paperwork, calculations and inspections are in place.
